Is It Ok to Use Apple Cider Vinegar Instead of White Vinegar?
Most recipes allow you to use apple cider vinegar instead of regular white vinegar. It won’t create a major difference in the final results — you might find your dish sweeter than required, but adding lemon or lime juice can easily fix this drawback.

However, in sweeter recipes, you can use lemon or lime juice instead to keep the dish sweet. White vinegar isn’t fruity, so if that’s a problem, a pinch of lemon or yuzu will help bring out the flavour.
