Milk can go bad if left out overnight, but not necessarily. Milk gets sour but does not spoil quickly. Bacteria multiply quickly in warm milk. You may even have some leftover milk when you wake up the next day. You can keep milk a little longer as long as it starts to smell sour.
If you happen to leave your milk out overnight, then sniff it first to see whether it is still safe to use, or has curdled. Generally, you should check whether the milk is still fit for consumption if you have left it out of the fridge for more than two hours. There are a few variables that will dictate how long it takes your milk to reach room temperature when leaving out milk.

Generally, an opened carton of almond milk can stay outside the refrigerator for several hours without any problems. If you want to be safe, you should simply toss out your almond milk if it is been left outside overnight (or more than two hours).

Almond milk that has been left out longer than two hours (including overnight) should be discarded, unless it is in an unopened, shelf-stable package. If you choose shelf-stable almond milk, and have kept a supply of it sitting in the pantry, make sure you refrigerate it for several hours before serving. You should store almond milk in the refrigerator at all times, and try to drink it within the first few days after making it. Once opened, an almond milk bottle or carton typically goes bad in seven to 10 days, so you want it in your refrigerator, far away from its doors, at all times.
When it comes to storing the newly-made pitcher of almond milk, you need to consider that its goodness only starts spoiling in four to five days. It is a little bit risky to consume almond milk longer than 10 days after you open it–but more often than not, if you do not notice any signs of spoilage (covered above), that can be fine. Even longer-lasting milks, which are shelf-stable for months unopened, should be consumed within one week of opening. Once opened, according to Eat By Date, all milk will last 4-6 days beyond the print date, when refrigerated.
While there is no set recommendation, most studies indicate that, as long as the milk is stored correctly, unopened milk typically stays good for 57 days beyond the listed date, whereas opened milk stays good for at least 23 days beyond this date (3, 8, 9). Once a bottle of milk is opened, you can expect it to keep good for four to seven days past its listed date. If not opened, full-fat milk will last 5-7 days, reduced-fat and skimmed milk will last seven days, and fat-free, lactose-free milk will last seven to 10 days past the label date, when refrigerated. The key to ensuring that any milk can last a lot longer is keeping it refrigerated: never leave your milk sitting out on the counter, and strive to finish off single servings within one hour of drinking. Some mothers leave milk at room temperature leftovers for an hour use in case baby seems hungry after a brief nap. To be sure, if you discover that the cup of baby milk is still left, even an hour later, spit it out and wash the cup.
If milk left out overnight does not smell bad or present any lumpy texture, you are strongly advised to put milk into the fridge immediately. Unattended milk should be placed either in the freezer for a while or the cooler part of your refrigerator to stop any bacteria from growing which can result in milk curdling. Remember, once you have opened the shelf-stable milk, you must handle it just as you would normal milk, keeping it refrigerated to 40degF or colder.
