It isn’t safe to eat outside during coronavirus, regardless of whether you are in India or not. But considering the spike in cases in India, it is better if you stay home to eat and leave your house only for necessary tasks – with proper precautions; a mask, a sanitizer, and six feet distance with people.
After writing a month ago about rules about traveling during Covid, a lot of folks asked whether similar rules exist about eating out or ordering in. Many restaurants might actually close down as people tighten their belts, cut back discretionary spending, and cut back the frequency of eating out. Being more frugal means that food costs at restaurants can increase, and restaurants may have trouble competing based solely on price.

Buying, storing, and cooking fresh vegetables can all be challenging during the quarantine, particularly if parents are advised to limit out-of-house trips. While using fresh foods may not always be feasible, try to limit highly processed foods in the grocery cart.
When eaten fresh, fruits and vegetables can be frozen when possible, and will keep most of their nutrients and flavors. Using fresh vegetables to cook big batches of soups, stews, or other dishes will keep them around longer and give you food options for several days. If you are running low on frozen items such as vegetables, fruits, chickens, or fish at the store, you may be able to buy the fresh versions and freeze.
Healthy options, such as nuts, are more nutritious, filling, and can help build healthier eating habits for life. Along with following the safe protocols, certain diet factors may reduce Covid risk, such as eating a healthy diet, being physically active, managing stress, and getting adequate sleep, according to Dr. Paritosh Baghel.
