How To Season Rice In A Rice Cooker?
It is extremely easy to season rice in a rice cooker. All you have to do is add rice into the rice cooker along with water, pour the seasoning of your choice over it (herbs, spices etc.), and then set the timer and let the rice cook and season simultaneously.
By adding a variety of herbs, spices, oils, broth, and other flavors to rice while it’s cooking in a rice cooker, you can create a flavorful dish that pairs perfectly with whatever you’re serving it with. To make delicious aromatic rice in a rice cooker, try blending the herbs in a food processor with water or stock, then add the mixture to the rice and let the rice cook. Properly seasoned rice will be crumbly and tastier than rice cooked with just water.

Use the same cup you used to measure the rice to measure the liquid. Although a rice cooker may require water, you can cook rice in any type of liquid as long as the amount is right. Add 1 cup of rice, stir quickly to break up the rice lumps, cover the pot with a lid and reduce the heat to low so the rice cooks evenly.
