How To Freeze Cooked Brisket?
It is quite an easy task to freeze cooked brisket. All you have to do is prepare it the way you like it, then place it in a sealed bag or an airtight container, and place it in the freezer to freeze it. You can consume this sealed frozen brisket for up to twelve months after freezing it.
Freezing cooked beef breasts does not significantly affect the flavor or texture of the meat, however, it is important to note that freezing does cause the meat to become a bit less tender. Whether you are looking to freeze raw or cooked brisket, you are fine with sticking it in a cold freezer. An entire brisket can be frozen, however, it takes longer for it to thaw when there is lots of cooking involved. Do keep in mind that if you are freezing and then defrosting a brisket, your beef will need plenty of time. Assuming that your brisket has been frozen a long time and is now frozen solid, you are looking at 5 days or so in your refrigerator before you can fully thaw it out evenly. Once you thaw and heat up a big hunk of brisket, you are best off not freezing it again, or your meat will end up mushy and dry. If you have leftover brisket stored in the freezer, you will want to make sure that the brisket has properly defrosted before trying to heat it.
