To cook raw peanuts without the shell, first, rinse the peanuts under cold water and then spread them out on a baking sheet. Boil 1 hour in crockpot or Instant Pot on High pressure, or 3-4 hours in pot with cover on Medium.

If you do not have Instant Pots, you can prepare the peanuts straight up in the cooker or in a conventional pressure cooker. You will rinse and sort your raw peanuts, and add them to an insert pan of your instant pot, along with a little coarse sea salt (I typically use this brand from Morton). The raw shelled peanuts can be boiled or roasted in the pan or the oven for a joey.
