Lemons just like potatoes or oranges vary in size. Sometimes you’ll get a large lemon and sometimes a very small one. But on average a medium-sized lemon when squeezed whole produces about 2 to 3 tablespoons of juice. So, if you need about 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, squeeze half a lemon.
