## How Much Does A Large Potato Weigh

**Potatoes are a vegetable commonly used in various recipes and cuisines. These vegetables come in a lot of variety and also vary in size. Regardless of the variety, an average potato weighs less than a pound. A large potato, no matter what its variety**,** weighs about 0.61 pounds in total.**

**Finally, the average weight of a large potato is 0.63, which means that two pounds of potatoes are about three large potatoes. Because of their weight, three pounds of potatoes are almost equal to 11 potatoes (10.7).**
