Rice cookers are the most commonly used tool for keeping rice warm because you are likely to use them to cook rice in the first place. The rice cooker can keep rice warm for up to 12 hours without spoiling. Cooked rice can be kept warm for 11 to 12 hours and cannot be kept warm any longer.

In such a situation, a rice cooker cooked in a rice cooker usually keeps food hot for a maximum of 11-12 hours. Typically, cooked rice will keep in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 days. If you refrigerate rice within an hour of cooking, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to four or six days. An alternative is to refrigerate cooked rice, preferably within an hour of cooking, and store it in the refrigerator below 41 degrees Fahrenheit.

Keep the rice left warm for as long as possible; if not, let it cool quickly and store in the refrigerator. You need to transfer the rice to another container after cooking is complete. It is important to refrigerate the rice and then place it in an airtight container within two hours of cooking. Do not leave food inside the rice for longer, or even for 11-12 hours.
If you need to keep the rice for more than an hour, don’t leave it on the stove for that long. As long as the rice does not aggregate, you can leave it for up to five hours. If you leave the rice on the keep warm setting for this amount of time, the rice will not stay cooked the way you want or with the desired texture. If your rice is dented, the burner won’t set properly, the rice won’t cook, or the helpful Keep Warm setting won’t start.
To avoid this, rice cookers maintain temperatures well above those at which bacteria can thrive, both during cooking and in keep warm mode. The problem is that once the rice has cooled down from cooking temperature, bacteria from the air will begin to enter the rice, eventually making it unsafe to eat. Bacillus cereus bacteria can withstand normal cooking temperatures, so if your rice isn’t heated, the spores can germinate and produce toxins that can make you sick. The scary fact is that uncooked rice naturally contains bacterial spores.
If you eat the rice immediately after cooking, the spores will not be produced and you are safe. Unfortunately, no, if the remaining rice has developed further, reheating will not kill the bacteria, and there is no way to tell if the rice is safe to eat. Hold mode means you can also reheat the rice for up to 4 days after cooking, but the sooner you reheat it, the safer it is. Reheating the rice is fine as long as you check if it’s safe or spoiled.
This is not recommended as leaving the rice at room temperature (until reheated) encourages bacterial growth. Instead, the rice grains are cooked at the same temperature until the bowl runs out of water. When the keep warm function heats the bottom of the bowl, the moisture in the rice grains will slowly evaporate. The keep warm function of the rice cooker should keep the rice hot enough (above 60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit) to prevent bacterial growth, but not so hot that the rice dries out or burns.

Your rice should hold up just fine, but if you heat the pan for more than an hour and fifteen minutes after the rice is fully cooked, permanently turn off the heat.
Leaving rice out for too long can cause overcooked rice and other problems. Sometimes you can cook enough rice without wasting it and you can easily reheat it and eat it, but it’s not as easy as it seems, as rice can grow bacteria and cause food to sit for a while To poison it was consumed.
