When an oven is set to self-clean, it will typically reach temperatures between 200 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This high level of heat is necessary to effectively clean the oven and remove any built-up food or grease. The self-clean cycle can take several hours to complete, and the oven will remain hot during this time.

This means that when the oven reaches temperatures above 1000 degrees Fahrenheit during the oven’s self-cleaning cycle, the oven can become so hot that it blows a fuse or electrical control panel.
