Do You Have To Use Egg Beaters Within 7 Days Of Opening
You don’t need to consume Egg Beaters within seven days of opening. In fact, you can eat them even after one year. If the box has not been opened, the contents may be still frozen. After opening, the product must be used within seven days after its receipt date. Eggs are very fragile and if not stored properly, they are spoiled.
Refrigerate Egg Beaters refrigerated without opening prior to the expiration date printed on the package. Keep one unopened carton of Egg Beaters in the fridge up to seven days if you are keeping it for later use. Egg Beaters (or any kind of egg whites purchased in a carton) lasts for about 10 days unopened in the refrigerator, and for three days once opened.

Pasteurized, liquid egg substitutes that are not opened can last for 10 days in the fridge; use opened cartons within three days after opening. In-shell pasteurized eggs should be stored in the refrigerator and can be used for three to five weeks. Serve eggs and foods prepared with eggs as soon as they are cooked, or refrigerate them and use them within three to four days.

After making homemade mayonnaise using pasteurized eggs or eggs products, store refrigerated and use within four days. Homemade mayonnaise can be made safely when using uncooked, in-shell, pasteurized eggs or pasteurized egg products.
Of course, in place of eggs, 3/4 cup of a non-fat, non-cholesterol-containing egg product or 5 egg whites may be used. Egg substitutes such as egg beaters are also okay to use however many you want, since they are made from egg whites and do not have any yolks. Egg Beaters are ideal for baking and sauteing, as they eliminate the need to crack eggshells and remove the yolks before using.
They come in different sizes (large, medium, extra-large) and flavors (chicken white, chicken brown, duck), so you can pick one that is right for you. While shell eggs are best prepared straight from the carton, our organic liquid egg whites can be frozen to prolong shelf life. It is important to store your hard-cooked eggs in their cardboard boxes in a refrigerator unless you plan on coloring them immediately after they are cooked and cooled. If you keep your hard-cooked eggs outside the refrigerator for hours or days at a time, either to decorate or hide, throw away any eggs you leave outside, or only use them to display.
Liquid eggs products should always be kept refrigerated and consumed within two to six days from the purchase date. Liquid egg products with no expiration date may be stored at 40degF or lower for up to seven days. Unopened dried egg products and solids may be stored at room temperature if kept cool and dry.
When buying eggs products, look for containers with tight seals and packages that are not opened. Stores are doing this because bacteria can grow if you open the packages and leave your Egg Beaters unopened, which could lead to an illness. To keep that from happening, store your egg beaters in a sealed container and store them out of direct sunlight.
If the egg is floating in the water in a bowl, or has a sulphurous odor after you break the eggs, they are no longer safe to eat. The egg yolk is eliminated in most products, as it contains all of the fat and cholesterol that are in the egg.

This construction means that an egg white is equal to two tablespoons of the egg beater, six eggs are equal to twelve tablespoons, and twelve tablespoons is equivalent to 3/4 cup of egg beater, as long as 1/4 cup of the egg beater contains four tablespoons of the egg beater. If left for long periods of time, the eggs beaters begin to combine together and form clumps. Mix together yolks and whites, then add half a teaspoon of salt or a tablespoon of sugar per one cup of raw eggs (depending on if you are planning on using your raw eggs in a savory or sweet dish later).
You can use pasteurized Egg Beaters egg whites for the whipping (regular pasteurized Egg Beaters egg white products do not work)… To freeze the entire eggs, whisk together yolks and whites. As a handheld tool equipped with two rotating paddles working together to combine eggs and other substances to form liquids of smooth consistency, the Egg Beaters can be used for making a variety of different types of pastries. As long as the process is done correctly, there is no danger associated with the consumption of egg whites. While eggs in their shells will not freeze very well (they may expand and break their shells, and also, the yolks become thick and syrupy, rather than flowing as they would normally if thawed), you can freeze raw eggs for up to one year, breaking them first.
As for the hard-boiled eggs, they will keep fine in the fridge for up to a week, but do not freeze very well. Regardless of what a “use-by” date is really, according to USDA, the best time to store raw eggs in their shells is between 3 and 5 weeks. A sold-by date usually will be due within 3 to 5 weeks, but eggs are completely safe for consumption. The shelf life of things like Egg Beaters is the unsealed packaging, once you open it, you should follow 7 days or whatever it says on the box.
Once the carton of Egg Beaters is opened, you are supposed to use it in seven days, or the sold-by date, whichever comes first. Egg cartons that have a USDA Grading Shield should show either the date the package was opened, or the date that the eggs were washed, graded, and placed into the carton. If you plan on using eggs past 7 days or past their expiration date, you will want to check carefully for signs of unusual colors or flavors.
If you notice liquid eggs that are becoming cloudy, smells off, or has a slimy look, toss them immediately. Store eggs far from meat, processed milk products, and other items that can affect their quality. Other foods containing eggs, such as French toast, quiche, baked goods, and casseroles, ensure the dishes are done, and avoid uneven cooking, by using a thermometer in the middle and along the sides of the dish.
Does Egg Beaters go bad?
Liquid eggs and egg substitutes such as Egg Beaters usually last for months if they aren’t opened. However, if you break the seal for breakfast today, it will not last after two days. Foodsafety.gov states that unsealed liquid egg containers are best utilized within three days and shouldn’t be frozen.
Can you substitute Egg Beaters for eggs in baking?
The use of liquid egg substitutes should be avoided in recipes that ask for any quantity of separately beaten egg whites. You can use an equal amount of egg substitute for the egg yolks in specific circumstances, typically when there are no more than two separately beaten eggs.
How do you clean rotary egg beaters?
Fill a bowl with warm, soapy water, then whisk it to clean a dirty whisk. Although it sounds a little funny, it really works. Move that warm, soapy water through the tines in the same motion you would when using it to clean your eggs or oil, and it will clean all the surfaces you just soiled.
