Do Capers Go Bad?
Of course, they can go bad after a period of time. Generally, the properly stored capers can be kept for several months past the printed best-by dates if the container is yet to be opened. However, after opening, it can be stored for up to a year if properly stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
