In this post, we are going to talk about how long you can expect your hummus to stay fresh and safe to consume, regardless of if it is bought from the store or made at home, and if it is opened or sealed.
It is important to realize that a best-by date on your hummus does not necessarily mean the product is safe for consumption. For both homemade hummus and store-bought, I would say that your hummus is still fine to eat another 2-3 months after you have used and stored it in the fridge.
