Is It Possible to Freeze Dry Pasta?
While you can freeze dry pasta, you don’t really have to. Pasta has an extended shelf life of up to two years and won’t go bad if left out in the open. But freezing it can be ideal if you want to save storage space or keep the pasta away from insects.

You can keep the sauce separate from the cooked pasta, or mix them together before placing them in the refrigerator or freezer. You can also spread the cooked pasta in a single layer on a baking sheet, freeze, and transfer to a reusable container. Homemade pasta can also be dried completely before placing in a plastic bag or airtight container. Dried pasta doesn’t need to be refrigerated, but can be stored on a shelf in an airtight container in a dry place that won’t be exposed to extreme temperatures.
