Rinse and dry two cans of lentils, then mix them with cooked rice. As with rice, you can put lentils and water in a rice cooker, usually 2 cups water to 1 cup lentils and let it work its magic. Put the lentils and 3/4 cup water in the rice cooker and cook for about 20 minutes or until the rice cooker switches to “Keep Warm” mode; the lentils should start tasting halfway through cooking.
