Can Cinnamon Get You High
Cinnamon can get you high when taken in large amounts. Spices like cinnamon and nutmeg contain myristicin which can cause hallucination. So, such spices should be used in minute quantities only in baking or cooking as these are more harmful than conventional drugs.
A high dose of cinnamon can be toxic and adversely affect people’s health. Cinnamon contains many other plant compounds that can have adverse effects when consumed in large amounts. For example, Cassia cinnamon is high in coumarin, which can cause toxicity and liver damage when consumed in large amounts (3, 4, 5).
Ceylon cinnamon contains eugenol and benzyl benzoate; cassia cinnamon contains coumarin. 3 Eugenol is said to have a sedative effect. 1 Coumarin is a precursor molecule for the synthesis of several synthetic anticoagulants, including coumarin. This is because common cinnamon is rich in coumarin, an aromatic organic compound that can cause liver damage and cancer. While cinnamon cinnamon is safe to consume in small to moderate amounts, consuming too much can cause health problems because it contains high amounts of compounds called coumarins.

Due to the toxic component of coumarin.3 European health agencies warn against consuming large amounts of cassia.34 There are no reports of side effects resulting from the accidental use of cinnamon as a spice. Consuming the usual amount of cinnamon is unlikely to have a major health impact. A normal person should cough and eliminate all but the occasional amount of cinnamon.
May cause breathing problems Consuming too much cinnamon powder in one sitting can cause breathing problems. Taking too much cinnamon can interfere with some medications. Some conditions may be more difficult to treat or even worse with too much cinnamon.
Cinnamon can also cause allergies in some people, such as skin irritation and stomach problems. The reason is that cinnamon has a fine texture that makes it easy to inhale. Small amounts of cinnamon do not appear to cause an allergic reaction, as saliva prevents the chemicals from staying in contact with the mouth for too long.
Some people are allergic to a cinnamon compound called cinnamaldehyde, which can cause mouth ulcers. Mouth ulcers seem to primarily occur in those who consume too much cinnamon oil and cinnamon-flavored chewing gum, as these foods may contain more cinnamaldehyde. The characteristic smell and taste of cinnamon is due to the essential oils contained in the bark, called cinnamaldehyde.
Cinnamon Bark Cinnamon (Cinnamomumaromaticum) is more pungent and tart than Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), which has a more floral aroma. Ceylon cinnamon, also known as true cinnamon, is commonly used in other countries.
The spice is a favorite homemade condiment and has been used throughout the world for centuries. Cinnamon is a great spice for cooking and baking due to the unique aroma and flavor of cinnamon. This rich, flavorful spice is not only delicious, but also rich in nutrients.
Using this cinnamon won’t hurt you, but it won’t have much flavor. Cinnamon is the crushed bark of a tree and has no place in anyone’s lungs. It is sometimes used for irritable bowel syndrome or other stomach or intestinal problems. Cinnamon bark is also used to stimulate appetite; with infections caused by parasitic bacteria and worms; and for menstrual cramps, colds, and the flu (flu).
Cinnamon can also have some side effects if you consume more than necessary. It can make you want to vomit and vomit, and if it gets into your lungs, it can even kill you. Cinnamon can lower blood sugar levels and increase the effect of diabetes medications by lowering blood sugar levels too much.

In addition to its beneficial effects on insulin resistance, cinnamon can lower blood sugar through many other mechanisms. Studies have shown that cinnamon can mimic the action of insulin, a hormone that helps remove sugar from the blood (17, 18, 19). Cinnamon can help lower blood sugar levels, so if you’re taking diabetes medications, the spice can enhance their effects and cause your blood sugar levels to drop too low. Taking cinnamon bark along with diabetes medications can cause your blood sugar levels to drop too low.
Cinnamon can also interact with certain medications namely; antibiotics, diabetes medications, blood thinners, and heart medications. The coumarin in some types of cinnamon can interact negatively with medications that also affect the liver, such as acetaminophen or statins, increasing the risk of liver damage.
To relieve digestive symptoms, cinnamon is taken as part of a hot drink (similar to tea). The idea is that you use a few cinnamon sticks in much the same way you use a cigarette. In this case, it’s easier to use ground cinnamon than trying to grate the cinnamon sticks yourself.
If you choose to use cinnamon after the expiration date, you can simply use more cinnamon to get more flavor. Whole cinnamon keeps for about a year, but ground cinnamon starts to lose flavor after a few months. In my experience, those who downplay it should use something like McCormick store cinnamon, stale and weak.

There is no stated safe amount for pregnant or breastfeeding women, so to avoid miscarriage or any other health complication, do not eat foods high in cinnamon, do not take cinnamon supplements, or if necessary, avoid it altogether. Fresh cinnamon powder, although I can’t tell recipes apart, is much more volatile when it covers the entire oropharynx. For this reason, I would recommend that you exercise caution when adding powdered herbs or spices directly to tobacco for burning; I think a much safer alternative would be to add a cinnamon stick to the tobacco jar and let it add its flavor over time. Cinnamon is also a healthy source of manganese and contains small amounts of calcium and fiber.
What happens if you smoke ground cinnamon?
Loose and dry cinnamon can irritate and burn the mucous membranes that line the respiratory and digestive tracts as well as the lungs. Cinnamon also increases blood flow and raises body temperature and it can be mentally addictive as same as sugar.
Can cinnamon powder get you high?
Spices like cinnamon or cardamom can get you higher than a single dose of THC. This is because such spices contain psychoactive substances similar to the chemical Myristicin, which can cause sedation and hallucinations. The same flavors found in cinnamon are the terpenes that make a cannabis strain have different effects, like myrcene.
Is cinnamon good to inhale?
No, it is not safe to inhale cinnamon. Even accidental inhalation of cinnamon can have an adverse effect on your lungs by causing pulmonary inflammation and infection. The immediate result of smoking cinnamon will be you getting a coughing fit or perhaps gasping for air.
